It’s A Dogs Life

Mar 9, 2021

We’re thrilled to reveal that Towers Virtual Tours and Birmingham Dogs
Home forged a fantastic charitable partnership.

On the 3rd of March 2021, three members of TVTstaff (Max, Aqi and Chloe W) arrived at BDH’s Solihull Campus to conduct a 360degree tour, videography and photography of the wonderful facilities.

Established in 1892, Birmingham Dogs Home is one of the eldest charities in the region. After a fire destroyed the city-centre campus, the construction of a state-of-the-art rehoming centre in Solihull was completed in 2019. Far from replacing the previous facilities, the new building has been purpose-built in the countryside to further enrich the lives of stray and abandoned dogs.

The new building features 3 kennels, 2 enrichment zones, a community playroom, veterinary and isolation rooms, assessment rooms and walking fields.

We were thrilled to see them dogs receiving so much love and attention whilst waiting to go to their forever homes, and it was a pleasure to see how the building reflects the needs of animals and staff alike.

Their work is funded almost entirely on public donations. We decided to help increase donations by providing premium content for donors as an incentive.

Our team of 3 conducted a full 360 tour of the facilities to demonstrate the scale of the BDHoperation and show exactly how donations are spent. In addition, we shot a dog’s point of view thanks to Rachel and her dog, Reeva, who was born at the rehoming centre.

Towers Virtual Tours are extremely grateful to Birmingham Dogs Home not only for allowing us the honor of creating the content for them, we are also grateful for the hard work they do for the community.

If you represent a charity interested in a partnership package, feel free to get in touch with us to discuss features and services.
